Community Garden Begins New Year

The Community Garden Ministry began with a grant from ECMN (Episcopal Church in MN) in 2015 and is currently in cooperation with the African Women’s Alliance. The mission of this project was to provide a way to foster relationships, respond to human needs, and provide opportunities to learn and dialogue across cultural differences. The first garden was planted in 2016 and continues to present a living vision of new birth, display the beauty of God’s creation, and produce yields with enough to share. Each year we grow in our learning and relationships as we see the return on our commitment to each other and our community. Plots become available to members of St John’s and the African Women’s Alliance on Thursday May 24  from 5 – 7 PM.  First come, first served.

Plots sizes:

10 feet x 15 feet for $30

10 feet x 7 ½ feet for $15
