The Episcopal Church in Minnesota (ECMN) Convention 2017 will take place on September 15th and 16th in Duluth, Minnesota. Convention is like a family reunion with Episcopalians across the state, as delegates have opportunities to connect, network, share resources, learn and help guide the future of the Episcopal Church in Minnesota.
Delegates come as elected representation of their local faith communities. Others come because they have an interest in learning more about the theme for the year and are interested in growing together with other Episcopalians across the state. Saint John’s will be represented by a full compliment of clergy and lay delegates.
This year at convention we’ll be exploring Dr. King’s vision of the Beloved Community. As we look back at the work that ECMN has done in years past, we see the strands of that good work – reconciliation, care for the environment, hunger, international relief – being woven together into this focus on the Beloved Community.
